Summer is officially around the corner and this recipe is the perfect treat for those hot summer days! - 3-4 large frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp. Shroom Shield
- 2 tsp. cocoa powder
- A few sprinkles of cinnamon
- A splash of non-dairy milk
*Makes one large bowl or 2 small bowls to share!*
- Freeze some well ripened bananas overnight (the more ripe the better as this adds sweetness!)
- Add ingredients to a blender and gently pulse.
- Scrape down the sides of your blender with a rubber spatula then continue to blend on low.
- Blend until all the ingredients are mixed together to create a smooth, thick consistency - like soft serve ice cream.
- Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with some extra cinnamon!
- Add any extra toppings like granola, fruit, nut butter - the possibilities are endless!
- Grab a spoon and enjoy.
Tell us a little bit about yourself!
Hi friends! I’m Kylie, a 22 year old recent college grad with a major in Psychology. I currently work at a tiny home community for unhoused individuals in the Tri-valley of the Bay Area! When I’m not working, you can find me playing tennis, going on walks with my family, making art, or lounging outside with a good book. I love going on day trips and adventures, but truly love the comfort of my own bed.
What is your favorite GOLDE product and how do you use it?
It’s so hard to choose! Everything Golde puts out is amazing, but Pure Matcha is what drew me to this brand in the first place and I can't live without it. Making matcha allows me to slow down and really focus on the process, while also enjoying the end product!
What is your Golden Hour?
My Golden Hour is early in the morning on a day off when it’s quiet and I can ease into my day with some hot orange water, a sudoku puzzle or good book, a few stretches, and some deep breaths of fresh air.
We can tell you’re an extremely creative person! What is your creative process like/where do you get inspo from?
I get most of my inspo from my daily life and finding beauty in the ordinary! I’ve always loved art and any kind of creativity, but I really found my flow once I started to create something every day, good or bad, and not beating myself up if I didn’t like the outcome. It gave me confidence to be more carefree and try new things! My creative process varies depending on the medium I’m working with, but I always remind myself to create what I want and enjoy, instead of what I think others would like. Creativity is expressed in so many ways, whether it’s a fun fashion choice, a painting, a photograph, or cooking/baking and that’s what I love about it!
